Fracture: The Victim and The Monster (Repost)

There are always two sides. Two versions of a story with each holding a certain amount of truth to it. Someone at fault and a victim. As I heard once, it is all a matter of perspective. One's perception of truth is often shaped by inner feelings. Such as Guilt, a powerful and often terrifying feeling. It is a promise. The dreadful sensation of being in the wrong, guilty of misdeeds, and that someday, the truth will come for you, as ugly as it is, it will hunt you down. There is no running away from Guilt, nor from its Herald.

The Shape of Guilt from the Fracture universe, this is I believe the second drawing/illustration I did for the character, fleshing out a bit more the overall story behind it. Beside The Puppeteer, this one is probably the most important and personal to me. It represents the beginning of what I have always wanted to do through drawings: expressing things that I can never find the right words for AND the creation of my first own monster like creature inspired by Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees. The Shape of Guilt is more than a living being, its an emotion. For this repost I had to rework many things like the leaves of trees, the water, and other elements of the forest, I have added the rain and the nose that was strangely missing from the original version. 😂
Enjoy!!
