But be aware, for the unholy and inhuman Lucifer roams the streets seeking the naughty kids. Stay away from his shadow for it will be too late if it covers your every steps. New repost of this drawing I did on the theme of Halloween, not the film but the celebration. I have always been intrigued by the old photography depicting the costumes during halloween, they looked so simple and yet way more creepier than anything that a modern person could come up with. But it might be also because of the old grain of the photos and the era. Anyhow, it is the meeting between the innocence of children celebrating that night and the creepy ominous presence of the devil and the dead walking the earth again that interested me in this case. I hope I was able to convey it. For this repost, I have obviously added the redish color for the sky and earth while the rest remained in black and white. I have added also more details on the characters and contrasts. I kinda like how it turned out, I wonder how it would look if I went with a fully colored one like The Sea Witch of the Drowned Market. 😊
