"Searching through the labyrinthic archives of the town's library, one thing had been constant: this figure.. It's first appearance was recorded in an ancient register dating back from the 5th century and spread all across the centuries up to the 20th, its last sighting being recorded in 1945 by a group of french survivors. They claimed that while bombs had eradicated the most important parts of the town, only the church where it lived was spared. Untouched by the conflicts of humanity. Others had stated that the priest-like figure would stalk the ruins seeking the last survivors, looking for lost souls ready to be taken away. Whatever this thing is, it is bound to this specific place and commits horrendous acts that are only ever imagined by monsters. It is reminescent of a cancer.
