I am so excited to share this one. It is one if not the first drawing that I did, fully, embeded in the style that relate the most to me. One that I feel I can call my own and it feels so genuine. One through which I can really express myself through, express the creepiness but also the silly/funny aspects. This one was the first of many drawings inspired by nightmares, every mornings after waking up, I would hold on to the remains of my nightmares and try to sketch them before they would fade. I was never afraid of clowns but mix them with John Carpenter's The Thing and I am scared as hell. Thus this piece was born. When I started doing the reposts I had these drawings in mind and I was highly anticipating the work that I had to do on them. Much has been improved compared to the original, more details on the characters fleeing, the clowns but more importantly, the forest. It was a bit of an after thought on the original but that was the main part here, trying to give that idea of depth. Let me know what you guys think about this one and I hope you will like it. 😊
