Just Another Dream (Repost)

"I had this weird dream last night. One of the few that seemed as real as reality itself. I walked along the narrow streets of a little town next to an old lighthouse. Misery by my side, hands in hands, traveling towards a spot that meant everything. The beginning, the in-between hardships and neverending cycle of sorrows and the disapointing ending that I hoped to avoid. And there it was. Standing tall, overseeing everything, a parasite. When I woke up, you were there, smiling with such innocence. A moment of brightness in this abyssal gap that I call life."
New repost. One of the first drawings inspired by dreams and nightmares, this one was more of a dream within a dream, from which I would awoke frightened under the beams of surise. Only to be conforted at the sight of the lovely muse that was inspiring my life and nightmares. It's one of these personal drawings that helped define my style. Types of drawings that I haven't done in a while now but I do intend to bring them back, I feel they are really a big part of me and such an important part of my journey. I have worked a lot on this one, details, contrasts and shadows had to be reworked but it was fun to do. Hope you will enjoy it!! 😊
