The Thiner The Veil Gets, The Clearer The Horror Becomes

"Feast your eyes upon the abstract design of what lies beyond the limited perception of one's mind. The unnamable. The unfathomable nature of what you would candidly describe as horror and relate to fear."
If I recall it properly, these were the words ushered by a deep and otherwordly voice as the face of the entity crossed the path of the moonlight, revealing partly the unexpected moving tentacles covered by this face. This discovery was fleeting as the darkness covered it as fast as it appeared. The sight of the glowing eyes of the entity staring relentlessly from the pitch black abyss that was the corridor left a scar in what I use to call "nightmares".

This one was a little experimentation on the character of the Mouth of God. I wanted to see how I could do something new with it and something that would challenge my detailing skills. Also the occasion to work on something inspired by the otherworldly horrors created by H.P. Lovecraft, his themes of eldritch/cosmic horrors driving the protagonists to the point of no return: Madness.
Hope you will enjoy this one 😄
