A concept design I did while on the hype train leading to the release of The Nun which did not do it for me sadly, but the character of Valak is now iconic, I mean an inhuman spirit haunting the corridors of a monastery while hidding amongst the nuns is pretty cool. So I came up with this version of a demon nun. Jawless, corrupted with a belly filled with burning coal. It had nothing subtle to it as you can see but it was fun to work on this design.
